Kaçkar Honey is produced on the summits of Kaçkar Mountains, which contains the richest flower variety in the world. The region where it is produced is at an altitude of 2500-3900 meters above sea level. The vegetation of the region, which consists of plateaus, is predominantly ground flower.

Kaçkar Honey is Turkey's first organic honey.
